29th Apr - Well done to Ash Class for confidently sharing your learning in your class assembly today. We really enjoyed your retelling of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and the Counting song.
28th Apr - World record holder Pete Thompson visited school and everyone took part in skipping workshops today. The children reported that 'he was so fun and we loved the skipping ninja! I got to be a skipping ninja and I really enjoyed it'.
21st Apr - Mrs Meredith, School Governor, met with pupils to discuss learning at Petersfield. The children identified the school values of Love, Peace, Friendship, Trust and Creation and were able to give many good examples that demonstrated both the vision and values and 'Living Life to the Full'.
20th Apr - Thank you to the County Maths Advisor who came into school to talk to the children about their learning. The children explained how maths working walls in classrooms support their learning and their use of maths vocabulary.
16th Apr - Today is EYFS Offer Day for Reception places at Petersfield for September 2026. We look forward to our transition as we welcome our new families. If accepting a place, please contact the school office directly as we do not get notified immediately if parents accept on the County portal.
15th Apr - Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the Headteacher and Music awards. Well done to everyone who received a certificate. Thank you to Pine Class for singing for us during the assembly.
